Get ready for the virtual tour of the 7th Continent most people never travel to – beautiful Antarctica!
Our virtual guides will take us through iceberg filled waterways, as we explore the history, landscape and wildlife of the continent.
Follow in the footsteps of earlier explorers as we study the natural habitat of penguins, humpbacks, seals and seabirds.
Then, we will virtually journey to the South Pole where Earth’s axis of rotation intersects its surface. Learn about the various exploration missions here since 1820 and up to the new ceremonial dedication in 2008.
Note: All Zoom links to attend the tour will be sent 5 to 10 minutes before the event (to the email you register with).
TIME ZONE AND RECORDINGS: The event will take place LIVE per the Eastern Time Zone (i.e., Washington D.C.) If this does not work, you may request a temporary recording of the tour on the following day.
