Join us for a conversation with Mary Weems and Bryant Alexander, authors of "Still Hanging: Using Performance Texts to Deconstruct Racism" and "Collaborative Spirit Writing: Performance in Everyday Black Lives."
Weems is a poet, playwright, performer, imagination-intellect theorist and Social Foundations scholar working in interpretive methods.
Alexander is an author and interim dean of the Loyola Marymount University College of Communication and Fine Arts, and professor of Communication and Performance Studies.
This event is being held in conjunction with the Cleveland Humanities Festival. The theme of this year's festival is "Discourse."
