About The Host: The Margie McLean Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that will work on a national level to develop and implement workshops, seminars, and other activities.Our mission is to provide outreach to underprivileged and disadvantaged children, young adults, and their families through educational enrichment, health and wellness, one-on-one mentoring, and local and global service projects that will foster future leaders in the 21st century and beyond. Our goal is to minister to teen and young adults between the ages of 11-21 and their families of all socio-economic backgrounds, encouraging self-confidence, health living, and educational and economical advancements. The Margie McLean Foundation, Inc promotes cultural, educational, health, physical fitness, social, professional development and leadership skills among the ladies that suffer from low self-esteem, lack of confidence, peer pressure, and health issues, and domestic violence.The Margie McLean Foundation envisions a community in which every youth experiences nurturing one-to-one relationships and community support, which in turn allows each of them to develop into their full potential, capable of making informed, responsible decisions as involved members of our community.
