Quantifier, hailing from Syracuse, NY, has swiftly made their mark in the post-progressive metal scene since late 2022. Their performances, ranging from underground venues to traditional clubs supporting acts like Whitechapel, Unearth, Revocation, Rivers of Nihil, Johnny Booth, and The Callous Daoboys, have earned them regional acclaim for delivering mosh-heavy interactive live shows. Their music draws from influences including post, psych, sludge, math, and progressive metal to create dynamic compositions with dark, experimental melodies and technical rhythms. "The Ordinary Strain," their latest EP, showcases their storytelling artistry and DIY ethos.
