FROSTBITE 5K in honor of John Hayen

Join us for the Annual Frostbite 5K in honor of John Hayen!

Celebrate the legacy of John Hayen—our beloved ugly-sweater fashionista and a cherished fixture of the Oneonta YMCA for more than 20 years. Slip into your most festive (and delightfully tacky!) holiday sweater and help us honor John’s joyful spirit at this year’s Frostbite 5K.

Register by December 12, 2025 to guarantee your event T-shirt.
Race-day registration: 9:30–11:30 AM at the Oneonta Family YMCA
Race start: 12:00 PM on December 31, 2025 on Market Street by the SFCU.
Registration opens Thanksgiving day at 12:00pm
