Poinsettia Pops will take place at the Goodrich Theatre in the Fine Arts Complex at SUNY Oneonta (directly across from the Alumni Field House on Ravine Parkway). Parking is available next to the Alumni Field House and Fine Arts building. Doors open 60 minutes before curtain.
Tickets may be purchased online in advance! General Admission is $25 at the door. Students always free and all parents, guardians, chaperones only $10.
HELP US DECORATE THE STAGE BY PURCHASING YOUR OWN POINSETTIA PLANTS! The stage will be adorned with dozens of poinsettia plants and are available for your purchase ($15 for a 10-inch plant, 5-6 blossoms per plant). Plants may be purchased online in advance or at the concert, and can be collected after the show. Plants make great decoration for home, work, houses of worship, or great gifts as well. All proceeds support the CSO!
Join us this December 13th as the Catskill Symphony Orchestra transforms the theater into a winter wonderland for its annual holiday celebration. This festive evening presents beloved seasonal favorites arranged for full orchestra, creating the warm, nostalgic atmosphere that makes the holidays truly magical. The program will feature noted jazz vocalist Jeanine Ouderkirk who will help bring the season's most cherished melodies to life, from traditional carols that have warmed hearts for generations to contemporary holiday favorites that have become new classics.
The orchestra, aiming for maximum holiday sparkle, will showcase the complete range of seasonal orchestral colors—the shimmer of bells and chimes, the warmth of massed strings in familiar carols, and the brilliance of brass fanfares that announce the joy of the season.
The Pops serves as the region's musical gathering place where families create new memories while celebrating the timeless power of holiday music to unite us all in the spirit of the season. This is a great evening out for holiday music lovers of all ages!
