- **Event Description**: Do you work as a perinatal or postpartum professional and feel unprepared to help support a family if they face a pregnancy or infant loss? This could be birth doulas, postpartum doulas, lactation professionals, nurses, pelvic floor therapists and more.

As a professional, who works with families in the prenatal and/or postpartum period, this outcome is a reality facing many of our families.

Come and learn how to support your patients/clients and their families as they face one of the hardest situations of their lives.

We will go over, in depth, losses starting at first trimester up to one year of age.

We will go over grief and loss. Also, we will learn how to put aside our personal feelings and provide non judgemental support.

There will be a resource fair with local organizations that support loss families. You will be able to connect with them and take home information to be able to share with families.

Wrapping up the day will be a live parent panel. We will have parents who have had losses go over their experiences. They will discuss what support means and the impact it made on them.

Registration Fee: $150
