If you’ve ever thought, “Maybe I could run a 5K someday,” this is your moment. Fleet Feet’s No Boundaries Beginner 5K Training Program is designed for anyone new to running or walking. With the support of a coach, mentors and a welcoming community, you’ll build fitness, confidence and friendships as you work toward your goal.
Over the course of seven weeks, you’ll join weekly group workouts led by a Fleet Feet coach and supported by mentors who have been in your shoes. Each session includes a warm up, a workout tailored for beginners and a cool down. You’ll also receive weekly emails with tips on running form, hydration, motivation and more. Throughout the program, you’ll be invited to participate in brand demo runs hosted by Fleet Feet partners and local community organizations to help you find the best gear and stay healthy for race day.
The group will meet weekly in person on Thursdays at 6pm at Fleet Feet Aksarben, located in Aksarben Village.
No Boundaries leads directly into the Papillion 5K on Sunday, May 17.
About the Coach:
Pam Car is a certified running coach with experience coaching a variety of distances. She puts a special focus on making sure every runner feels included, and she enjoys going on the journey of running progression with runners of all levels. Pam has coached a number of clinics for beginner runners, including last year's Fleet Feet 5K Training Class and the Omaha Running Club’s Ladies Step Into Running 5K clinic.
