Mocktails and Mixes Workshop

Time: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Mocktails and Mixes: An evening of relaxation, good conversation, and friendly competition, featuring mocktails, music, and games. 

First: Community Playlist. 

We need music! Set the mood or topic of conversation by adding your favorite songs! All participants can send a song or two to be added to a community playlist that will play while we sip, socialize and play board games. 

We will start the event by making sure our playlist is ready for rotation. Send your song recommendations to amhvYnphIHwgbm1lcG9tYWhhICEgb3Jn ahead of the event, or arrive early to add songs to the playlist in person. During this time begin scoping out the drink choices. Some warm and cozy or bright and refreshing. 

Next: Make your mocktail/beverage of choice. 

Head to the mocktail bar to prepare your beverage for the night! Choose from two distinct drink recipes: warm up with a cozy, spiced mocktail in a mug, or stay chill and shake things up with a refreshing mocktail in a jar. 

Whether you stir or shake, we have the spices and zest you’re looking for during the sipping season. Learn about the different infusions and benefits in the drinks before making your way to the trail mix table.

Then: Build your trail mix

Head to the charcuterie-style trail mix bar and  build your bowl of snacks to pair with your drink. Choose from a variety of nuts, cheeses and seasonal dips. 

Finally: Conversation and competition!

Now that the sips are sippin’ it’s time for competition. Find some friends or strangers and mix while listening to our community playlist. Enjoy mocktails while competing in any of the available games or simply enjoy your drink and the conversation that comes with it. Find our favorite finger foods while snacking charcuterie style! 

This mixer will take place after hours at the Cups Cafe in the No More Empty Pots Food Hub in the Historic Florence Neighborhood.
