Join us for a morning of coffee and conversation at The Dock with artists from the group exhibition currently on view at Millwork Commons in the Ashton Gallery September 19th - December 14th.

You will have a chance to meet the artists, and learn more about their both traditional and contemporary techniques. Enjoy coffee from Archetype while you take in the art.

Exhibtion Statement:

"Follow The Thread is a group exhibition featuring Omaha-based artists inspired by the cozy, expressive, layered fabrics that surround us every day. Drawing on the rich traditions of sewing, weaving, and quilting, these artists take both literal and metaphorical approaches to connecting with their communities and environments. Their works highlight how fabric can carry memory, comfort, and meaning, while also embracing contemporary interpretations.

For many of the artists, the process itself is meditative, and a reminder to move with purpose, whether through expression, joy, ingenuity, or activism."
