This exciting project is part of a long-term partnership between Aviva and The Wildlife Trusts. Drop in anytime between 11:00 and 15:00 to explore, learn, and enjoy this 41 acre site.

Take a guided wander among the newly planted trees and discover how we’re restoring this tiny, long-lost fragment of ancient woodland. Chat with Ulster Wildlife staff, ask questions, and find out what makes this habitat so special. You’ll also have the chance to plant a tree and leave your mark on the nature reserve’s future.

Bring a picnic and a blanket if the weather’s fine, relax on the grass, and soak up the peaceful surroundings. Throughout the day, there’ll be self-guided children’s activities, and plenty of opportunities to connect with nature.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for an outdoor event. Walking boots or wellies are recommended.

There are no formal paths and you will be walking on uneven terrain with some steep inclines.
