WELCOME TO SOUTH PUGET SOUND COMMUNITY COLLEGE
NEW STUDENT ADVISING AND REGISTRATION
New Student Advising Registration (NSAR) is a mandatory information session designed to help students register for courses and establish a connection with advisors on campus. As a new or returning student you will be given instructions and support to register for your first quarter classes from our skilled advising staff. During this session you will also be able to ask the advising staff any questions you may have, documents for placement evaluated, and receive more information about the network of resources provided to students on our campus.
►To be successful in your registration experience please review the following prior to signing up for a session:
● Students must have applied to the college for the upcoming quarter, activated their student email and either taken placement test or have transcripts in hand at the session for placement evaluation.
● The NSAR process lasts about two hours - please make arrangements to available the entire session.
● Sessions start ON TIME. There is no late entry allowed. Please make sure you give yourself adequate time to get to campus, find parking and get to Building 22. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
● Children, partners, parents, funding agents, etc. are NOT allowed in lab. Please make sure you have made alternative childcare arrangements. Those who are here to support you in your registration process are welcome to have a seat in our lobby while you are in lab.
