Výstava představí soubor obrazů, který byl poprvé uveden v roce 2025 v rámci výstavy Snoubení nebe a pekla – William Blake a jeho současníci v muzeu Szépművészeti. Jejím jádrem jsou práce, které vznikly jako dialog mezi Williamem Blakem a Mikem Nylonsem – jedním z mnoha alter eg uměleckého dua Lőrinc Borsos. Do Blakeových vizionářských obrazů umělci intervenují pomocí černých geometrických znaků a hledají v původních kompozicích nové vztahy připomínající okultní variaci na trojiční symboliku. Mike Nylons ve vlastních malbách nabízí surovější pohled do posthumanistické budoucnosti postavený na volné kresbě, popkulturních znacích, graffiti estetice a pozdně kapitalistické symbolice. Výstava propojuje Blakeovu vizuální i poetickou imaginaci, náboženské a mytologické motivy, současnou vizuální popkulturu a motiv chaosu jako tvořivé síly. ??̋???? ?????? je fiktivní umělecká identita, kterou od roku 2008 tvoří a rozvíjí Lilla Lőrinc (*1980) a János Borsos (*1979). Jejich tvorba, založená na dekonstrukci tradičních uměleckých strategií a kolektivních či para-institucionálních přístupech, navazuje na konceptuální tradici maďarské neoavantgardy a zároveň ji otevírá současným technologickým a mediálním proměnám. Součástí jejich praxe jsou také kolektivní projekty, umělecké a hudební performance, alternativní pedagogika a komunitní iniciativy spojené s art quarter budapest (aqb). ❁ The exhibition presents a series of paintings first shown in 2025 as part of the exhibition The Marriage of Heaven and Hell – William Blake and His Contemporaries, at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest. At its core are works conceived as a dialogue between William Blake and Mike Nylons, another of the many alter egos of Lőrinc Borsos. The artists intervene in Blake’s visionary images with black geometric signs, seeking new relationships within the original compositions that evoke an occult variation on Trinitarian symbolism. In his own paintings, Mike Nylons offers a more raw vision of a posthuman future built from loose drawings, pop-cultural references, graffiti aesthetics, and the symbolism of late capitalism. The exhibition brings together Blake’s visual and poetic imagination, religious and mythological motifs, contemporary visual culture, and the notion of chaos as a creative force. ??̋???? ?????? is a fictional artistic identity created and developed since 2008 by Lilla Lőrinc (*1980) and János Borsos (*1979).
