We are proud to announce that Ernest Simmons VFW Post 6722 is hosting and organizing the Veterans Day Parade this year!!! WE ARE BRINGING THE PARADE BACK TO LILLINGTON with the help and assistance of the Harnett County Veterans Council and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The parade is scheduled for SATURDAY NOVEMBER 8TH 0900-1200hrs. I am attaching the application and parade rules that are largely adopted from the Town of Lillington and their parade events along with from years past and the Harnett County Veterans Council who so selflessly organized this parade for years. 

I would like to invite you as a participant and guest along with anyone or organization you would like to ask to attend also. We would like to make this an event of great proportions with maximum participation this year and for years to come. Please pass the word and also help us promote and fill the streets of Lillington on November 8th this year in honor of our nation's veterans. 

Following the parade, VFW 6722 will be hosting a community event and serving food and drinks for all to socialize and share in camaraderie and community togetherness while sharing time with veterans and as always, PUBLIC INVITED!! 

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or comments via email below and to receive a copy of the parade rules and sign-up form. Please share far and wide among our schools, veterans organizations, scouting organizations, and military families and friends. You will also find below the square link where parade fees can be paid (NOTE* certain organizations and groups are exempt from parade fees).
