DRO is an Alt-Country/Americana group hailing from Kelowna, BC. Fronted by Rachel Matkin and Barry Mathers-both Juno Award Nominees and BCCMA Hall of Fame Inductees. Their roots driven sound is rounded out by Multi-Instrumentalist Robert Bailey and dynamic drummer and percussionist Jay Terrence, who was also inducted into the BC Country Music Hall of Fame. Known for their award winning songwriting and signature harmonies, Dirt Road Opera crafts music that blends grit and grace.
