The Jack-o'-Lantern Cave

The Jack-o’-Lantern Cave at Carter Caves State Resort Park is a spooktacular two-night event at Cascade Cave! Join us on October 24th and 25th, 2025 at 6:30 PM for a glowing Halloween experience. Donate a carved pumpkin to the Pumpkin Cave and receive free admission to this unique underground light show. Pumpkins can be dropped off at the Welcome Center from October 21st–23rd, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Each donated pumpkin earns you one free ticket, plus a chance to win prizes in our contest for the best overall pumpkin. Regular admission is $12 for adults, $7 for children 12 and under. Don’t miss your chance to see the spookiest creations light up the cave!
