Long before turning his hand to comedy, Carey Marx was a magician who once made Princess Beatrice cry. A circuit veteran, Marx concocts his own blend of dark humour with mischief and glee. His wilful disregard for the controversial and taboo is tempered with his ability to find joy in the most unexpected places. ★★★★★ Herald ★★★★★ Edinburgh Evening News ★★★★★ Edinburgh Guide ★★★★★ List ★★★★ Daily Mail ★★★★ ScotsGay ★★★★ Chortle ★★★★ Fest ★★★★ The Skinny ★★★★ Informed Edinburgh Your compere is One half of the hit Dead Men Talking podcast Freddy Quinne absolutely hates writing about himself in the third person but needed to fill out this part of his website because sometimes promoters will use these bios and copy and paste them into their own comedy events when he is on.
