Friends Event - Smoke And Mirrors

Oldham Coliseum Theatre are producing a play in the new gallery space in the JR Clynes building. Join us for a pre-show talk by the writer Jake Talbot from the Oldham's company Dare to Know Theatre. Jake will discuss the main themes in the piece, how they made the show, why the piece is relevant now.

All Frankie wants is to make great art. But what does it take to make great art? Can you be happy and make great art? And do you have to have experienced trauma as your muse? Over the course of two exhibitions, Frankie discovers the myths and pressures of the art world as she struggles to juggle all aspects of her life.

There will then be an opportunity to watch the performance at a discounted price.
