About the event

Sketch the Style: 1920s Fashion Talk, Illustration Class, and Archival Viewing
In this hands-on fashion class, we’ll explore the revolutionary style of the Jazz Age – when fashion illustration flourished and artists like Erté brought elegance and movement to the page with his iconic Art Deco designs. Learn about 1920s fashion, from dropped waists to dramatic accessories, before illustrating your own period-inspired ensemble with guided instruction.

You’ll even get a glimpse into some authentic 1920s fashion from Old Westbury Gardens’ archives!

All materials included and general admission included.

Ages 16+ | The Barn at Orchard Hill | $23 ($5 for Members)
