- **Event Description**: Join us for the 8th Annual Kayak the Cuivre Race in Old Monroe!About this Event2 courses offered, both starting at Heitman's Launch in Old Monroe:Easy Rider: 2.5 miles total to Hwy 79 bridge and backBust: 8.3 miles total to Flatwoods (maybe Dalbow) and backCheck-in on race day is from 8:30-9am, race starts at 9:30amThere will be multiple categories and prizes for winners in each category! Finisher medals and refreshments will be provided for all racers and there will be an end of event drawing for prizes (must be present to be in the drawing). There will also be Kayak the Cuivre t-shirts and tumblers available for purchase.
