Quilted Bowl Cozy Workshop

Join Kathy Kwasniewski and Lynne Madden, members of the Cabin Quilters group in Forestport, for a beginner-friendly sewing workshop where you’ll learn how to create a quilted bowl cozy! Gain basic skills in quilting and sewing, including cutting, layering, and stitching, to finish a functional project that's perfect for safely handling hot bowls.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a completed bowl cozy (or 2) and the skills to make more at home—great for gifts or everyday use. This workshop is the perfect accompaniment for your recent Chili Bowl purchase! Choose from our provided fabrics, or bring your own 100% cotton 10 x 10 squares. View will provide the sewing machines, 100% cotton fabric, thread and batting.

No previous quilting or sewing experience is necessary. Kids 12 and above are welcome to attend. All materials are included in the cost of the class.
