Meet “Sheena” Her journey began in and out of foster care, led her to life on the streets, and into the hands of traffickers. For years, she battled addiction and hopelessness—believing that was how her story would end.
But through a series of small miracles, Sheena found safety, care, and healing. After completing restorative care, she came to 1ninety-nine, determined to build a new life—one marked by stability, dignity, and independence.
Today, Sheena has a job, is addressing her mental and physical health, and is gaining the confidence to become a dependable, thriving member of the workforce. Her progress reflects the dedication of volunteers, staff, and community donors who believe in second chances.
