I didn’t have fancy tools or an easy path, but I had passion—and I never stopped believing in what I could build.That passion stayed with me as my journey took me to Taiwan, where I worked as a butcher while cutting hair on weekends. In 2014, I moved to Canada and continued working as a butcher, but I kept cutting hair whenever I could. No matter how busy or exhausting life became, barbering remained close to my heart.Over time, what began as a passion became my career. I joined Denim and Smith Barbershop in Calgary as a full-time barber, where I spent two years learning, growing, and building lasting relationships with my clients and the community.Today, I’m proud and grateful to be a franchise co-owner of Denim and Smith Barbershop in D’Arcy Crossing, Okotoks.Looking back, I realize my journey was never just about scissors or a comb.
