The Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Wizards in Winter, Dreams of Fireflies, Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24, and A Mad Russian’s Christmas bring a rock-and-roll energy to the season, with soaring electric guitars, powerful orchestra, and dazzling rhythms.
We open with Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Christmas Overture, a joyful, rarely heard gem filled with traditional carols — performed in honor of the 150th anniversary of the composer’s birth.
Sibelius’ Night Ride and Sunrise takes you on a thrilling sleigh ride through a snowy Finnish landscape, ending with a breathtaking sunrise that symbolizes hope and renewal.
