Before DD DAY Awareness Day at the Capitol, join us on Thursday, March 12th for two great opportunities to prepare and learn!

? 12–1 PM | Preview “Walkthrough” Tour

Get familiar with the Capitol in a small group before the big day. The tour will be led by Committee Members who are experienced advocates ready to support you and answer your questions so you feel prepared for the event! 

Itinerary:

• Meet directly past security as you enter, and we will show you:
• Multipurpose Room 100
• 2nd Floor Rotunda
• House & Senate Desks (4th Floor)
• House & Senate Offices
• Gallery (5th Floor)
• Finish at 1pm at the Waitlist Meeting Room

? 1:30–3 PM | DDS Waiver & Waiting List Meeting

Afterwards, you're invited to stay for the DDS Waiver and Waiting List Meeting and hear from and talk to DDS leadership and other state agencies and programs that support people with developmental disabilities and their families.This is for those who are curious about what the waiting list is, individuals on the waiting list, and those currently receiving services wanting to learn more.
