Inspired by the legendary Leslie Knope, played by Amy Poehler in Parks and Recreation, Galentine’s Day is our yearly moment to celebrate the brilliant, generous, and all-around amazing women in our lives. As Leslie herself said, “Every February 13, my ladyfriends and I leave our husbands and boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies.”
This event is different from our traditional YWCA fundraisers. There is no formal program or speaker, just a relaxed morning devoted to connection, community, and highlighting YWCA’s mission. Breakfast will be served, mimosas will be poured, and a photo booth will be ready to capture every bit of the fun. We will also have girlfriend-themed raffle items and a swag bag for every Galentine who attends.
Each ticket includes admission to the event, one complimentary mimosa, a swag bag, and plenty of fun.
