Join us where we’re excited to welcome Ashley Carreon, the 2025 OKC Memorial Marathon Women’s Overall Winner! Ashley, a 36-year-old runner from Moore, claimed victory with an impressive time of 2:56:35. Her journey with the OKC Memorial Marathon spans years—she won the half marathon in 2019 and placed third in the full marathon just last year. She describes this year’s win as a true team effort and a deeply meaningful experience. Come hear Ashley share her story, training insights, and what it meant to be part of such a powerful community event.

Ashley is a former collegiate track and cross-country standout for the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers, where she earned multiple conference titles, school records, and All-American honors, and was named the 2012 Female Student-Athlete of the Year. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nutrition and Health Sciences with an emphasis in Community Nutrition and Health Promotion and a minor in Educational Psychology, while also serving as a graduate assistant and researcher for the iCook 4-H program, which promoted family mealtime, cooking skills, and physical activity among youth and families. Her research was later published in *Appetite* in 2016. After completing her dietetic internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Ashley pursued her passion for helping others live healthier lives and now serves as a registered dietitian nutritionist specializing in bariatrics with the INTEGRIS Healthcare System in Oklahoma City.
