Batty for Bats

Come learn all about bats! We're hosting a pair of workshops March 7 for anyone who wants to learn more about bats or build a little home for them in your yard.

Pre-registration is required for each event.

🦇 Part 1: Build a Bat House
8:30 to 10 a.m.
Cost: $65 per bat house
Bats are amazing mammals! These insect-eating miracles live right here in Oklahoma City and eliminate mosquitos by the thousands nightly! If you want to build a bat house and learn a little bit about these night friends, we will have kits made for those who attend.

10 a.m. to noon
Cost: $5
Join us for a family-friendly workshop all about Oklahoma’s bats and the plants that help support their nighttime feasts. Learn about local bat species and explore which native plants attract the insects they love to eat. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, gardener, or just curious, this event is sure to be a winged adventure!
