Cutting Through the Red Tape: Fees & Insurance Credentialing for MHPs
For LPC/LMFT licensed professionals or even those soon-to-be licensed:
If you are interested in branching out into private practice but you find yourself intimidated by all of the ins and outs of insurance credentialing and the “business” side of private practice, this workshop may be a good fit for you. Having recently gone through the process myself, I am trying to provide an option for those individuals who are daunted by the paperwork but don’t want to pay $750 to a private company to get credentialed. I did all the paperwork myself and am paneled with HealthChoice, Tricare, BCBS and United, and I plan on using this time to go over the application process and talk through what it was like to deal with the insurance companies. I also plan on reviewing the LPC/LMFT Codes with respect to fees and bartering according to the community standards.
This workshop has also been approved by the BBHL for two hours of ethics for LPCs and LMFTs.
Hope to see you there!
