Accounting and Taxation for Cannabis Businesses
**Early Bird Pricing until October 31st**
***Price increases to $47.50 on November 1st!!***
Medical marijuana is taking off in Oklahoma. With the growth and excitement of this partially legal industry comes a lot of challenges, especially when it comes to tax and accounting. Since cannabis is illegal on the federal level and operates largely with cash, your business is a prime target for an IRS audit. Many expenses associated with running a marijuana business are disallowed for tax purposes, and you will likely end up paying substantially more taxes than if you had been able to deduct the expenses incurred in the normal course of business.
This class will cover tax and accounting issues that you need to be aware of so you can run a successful business. Specifically, the following will be covered: 280E, Form 8300, best practices for running a cash business, and the applicability of 280E to hemp and CBD oil.
Bring your questions for the experts!!!
Courtyard by Marriott parking is included in the price of the ticket.
