- **Event Description**: This course is designed for shooters who already understand the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship and DOPE collection and want to learn how to apply those skills from realistic field positions.

Students will learn how to efficiently build stable shooting positions using barricades, tripods, backpacks, shooting bags, and natural support structures while engaging targets under time constraints.

This is not a benchrest class. The focus is practical rifle performance for hunters, armed citizens, and tactical shooters who may need to engage targets from improvised positions in the real world.

 

Recommended Equipment:

• Semi-auto or bolt-action precision rifle

• Reliable optic with exposed adjustments or holdover reticle

•3 magazines minimum

• 150–200 rounds

• Shooting bag/rear bag

• Tripod (optional but recommended)

• Bipod recommended

• Eye and ear protection

• Water/snacks/weather appropriate gear

Prerequisite: Students should already understand rifle zeroing, holds, and basic DOPE management or have completed Gundaddy Rifle Fundamentals & DOPE Development.
