With a Day of Training and Preparation followed by a Day of Hunting, our Hog Hunting School is the Perfect Way to get your First Wild Boar!
This Two Day Event is designed to allow you to experience the thrill of a real Wild Boar Hunt, while maximizing your chance of Taking Home the Bacon in a Safe, Fun, and Humane Way.
Day One at Okeechobee Shooting Sports:
Classroom Instruction on Firearm Set-Up, Ammunition Selection, Best Practices, Where to Hunt and How to Find Wild Boar in Florida
On-Range Instruction on Stalking, Shooting from Improvised Positions, Shooting Moving Targets, Shooting while Moving, and Snap Shooting.
Evening of Day One and Day Two:
Wild Boar Hunt with Professional Guide. Participants will hunt from Tree Stand, Stalk Hunt and/or hunt from a Buggy depending on the conditions. This will be a True Florida Wild Boar Hunt on some of the most beautiful unspoiled private land you will ever see. Participants are not guaranteed a hog K*ll. This is not a caged hunt, but a real HUNT on real open land with a real professional guide. Don't worry, though, the hogs are bountiful and some are trophy-sized!
Course Level: Intermediate
Cost: $840 includes Instruction, Training, Range Fees, Hunt with Professional Hunting Guide, 1 Meat Hog K*ll, Souvenir Camo Shirt, Lunch and Dinner Day One, Overnight Lodging, and Breakfast Day Two
No Hunting License Required.

Equipment List:
- Rifle or Shotgun (Rentals available. Must request when booking.)
- 100 rounds Hunting Ammunition
- Hiking Boots, preferably waterproof. Snake Boots (Recommended) or Snake Chaps.
- Camouflage, dark green or khaki pants (Students will be given a Camo T-Shirt)
- Rain Gear (Recommended)
- Large Cooler for Meat (minimum 52 quart size)
- Bug Spray / Thermocell (Recommended) and Sunscreen
- Hat with Brim
- Refillable Water Bottle
- Notepad and Pen
- Flashlight

- Students must be 18 years or older
- All students must be safe and familiar with their chosen firearm.
