- **Event Description**: Happy to finally announce a special screening of the West Coast Premiere of my new film Snake Oil Song at our lovely Ojai Playhouse, Friday December 12th at 9pm along with special guest Jim Cummings to moderate a Q&A.

The seed of this film started with a mentorship with Werner Herzog in 2018 where I discovered the conditions of gold mining in the Amazon jungle, and the story was born out of a collaboration between myself, actor Guillermo Subauste, co-writer Jeffrey Reeser and many others along the way. We premiered the film in October at New/Next Film Festival in Baltimore. Excited to share the film with you all and catch up in person! 

Chino spends his days on the outskirts of the Amazon river hunting the anaconda that ate his dog. When an American hires Chino as a river guide, an encounter with illegal gold miners puts his life in jeopardy.
