About Us: EDS West Connect is based right here in Oxnard, California home of the 805 Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Support Group, where our local community first came together over a decade ago. What began as a small support group grew into hundreds of people! And now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, advocating across California for education, awareness, and protection of patients with EDS and related disorders. We’ve been honored to join the movement alongside Complicated from the beginning, attending the World premiere at Slamdance, hosting a private screening in Oxnard, and tonight, attending the L.A. Times Studios special screening in Culver City. We are also partnering with local hospitals and caregivers in the 805 to show this film as a learning tool in the future.
