Mural Fest is Oil City Main Street Program's mural festival, a two-day outdoor celebration of public art, local culture, and community creativity! 

This free, family-friendly event brings the creative process outdoors to Town Square (the park in front of 100 Seneca) on August 21st and 22nd. Instead of viewing finished pieces in a gallery, visitors can watch local artists paint four-sided Mural Monoliths live in real-time. Each mini-mural panel highlights themes of Local Nature, Recreation, Trails, and Biking, offering the community a front-row seat to see raw wood transform into vibrant public art.

Join us at Town Square (in front of 100 Seneca) for Oil City’s very first live mural festival!  

Friday, August 21 (11:00 AM – 6:00 PM): Prep Day  
No bells and whistles, just a raw look at the creative process. Come on out and watch the artists set up, lay down their outlines, and prepare their panels for the main event.  

Saturday, August 22 (11:00 AM – 6:00 PM): Festival Day!  
The main event! Experience live painting as 16 panels come to life in real-time alongside live music and a kids' chalk area.  

Saturday Agenda:
11:00 AM: Festival Opening & Kickoff (Announcements & DJ starts)  
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Sponsor Spotlight & VIP Hour  
2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Live Painting & Roving Artist Q&A (Host interviews painters live!)  
3:30 PM – 4:30 PM: "People's Choice" Spectator Voting (Cast your vote at the welcome booth!)  
5:15 PM – 5:45 PM: Closing Ceremony & People's Choice Winner Announcement  
5:45 PM – 6:00 PM: Group Photos with Artists & Finished Monolith Murals
