A seasoned musician with years of touring under his belt. Hailing from Northwest Pennsylvania, his music reflects the rugged landscapes and resilient spirit of the region. Through heartfelt solo acoustic performances, he shares genuine stories that resonate with audiences, drawing from the joys and struggles of everyday life.
Having built a dedicated fan base over the years, Oakman invites listeners on a heartfelt journey through the highs and lows of the human experience. His songs, inspired by the people and places of Pennsylvania, offer a warm and honest portrayal of life's moments, touching the hearts of those who appreciate genuine storytelling.

When not performing as a solo musician, Fred is sometimes backed by his traveling band The Flood. In addition to The Flood he performs in the beloved Pennsylvania Rock Band ONE IF BY LAND.
