After School: Polaroid Photo Transfers with Rebecca Pletsch

Discover the magic of Polaroid photo transfers in this workshop led by teaching artist, Rebecca Pletsch. Participants will explore the creative possibilities of this alternative photographic process, where images from instant film are lifted and transferred onto watercolor paper. The result is a one-of-a-kind print with soft textures, painterly effects, and a dreamlike quality.

Rebecca will guide participants through each step of the process—preparing materials, handling the delicate emulsion layers, and experimenting with composition. Along the way, she will share tips and tricks for working with transfers to create expressive, personal imagery.
