Join me as I partner with the wonderful folks at the Elks Lodge in Ogallala to bring this hat burning workshop to Keith County! Tickets typically sell out quickly for these events, so dont wait until last minute! Pre registration is required as spots are limited to 15 participants. Vemno or PayPal is accepted for prepayment.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
What is 'Pyrography'? It is the use of a wood burning tool to etch or "burn" an image! Typically used for wood, in this fun and functional workshop we will learn how to use a hot tool to create a fashionable piece of wearable art by burning in a design on a felt hat! Create your own unique design, or pick from available stencils. Afterward, add embellishments from the Hat Bar - feathers, beading, lace, leather, and hat pins - to completely customize your piece! I will have tips, tricks, and guidance ready to ensure you walk away with something you want to show off!
Participants must be 18 years of age or be with an accompanying adult due to use of a hot tool. Total cost of this workshop is $50, and includes your choice of wide brim hat (I will have TONS of color options available) and any embellishments from the hat bar.
