Join The Niall Kinsella Orchestra, and Irish jazz diva Stella Bass, for The Golden Age of Jazz & Swing – a concert featuring the best of American Songbook standards by Gershwin, Rodgers & Hart, Cole Porter, and instrumentals of Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Count Basie and others.
 
Expect toe-tapping tunes like ‘Manhattan’, ‘Summertime’, ‘Too Darn Hot’, ‘Moonlight Serenade’ and many more, in an unforgettable evening of rhythm, sizzle and swing!

The Niall Kinsella Orchestra is Ireland’s newest professional orchestra specialising in performing classic Musical Theatre repertoire with style and authenticity. Featuring the finest freelance professional musicians and stellar guest vocalists, the orchestra recreates the original sound of this music as it was intended by its creators. The orchestra has built a formidable reputation in their first year, performing to packed houses at the National Concert Hall, The Helix and National Opera House, Wexford. 

Stella Bass has been hailed as "one of Ireland's leading vocal jazz talents" (Jazziz Magazine, USA) and  performs extensively in concerts in Ireland and abroad, with sold out concerts at Dublin’s National Concert Hall and Cork Jazz Festival. She returns to Birr Festival of Music following her rapturously received, sold-out Stella Sings Ella concert in 2024.
