About the event

Meditation uncovered: myths, science & practice
Did you know that meditation can change your brain structure, lower stress and anxiety, improve attention and concentration, boost emotional regulation, and may even slow aging at the cellular level or help with pain management?
But what elements of meditation are actually behind these effects? Is sitting cross-legged and “om-ing” the only way to meditate? And how can we bring the scientific findings about meditation into our everyday lives?
Join us for a curious and interactive conversation about the modern meditation craze. Let’s explore the science, question the hype, and even try out some effects together!

We will meet at Borgernes Hus. Room 1.1 (first floor)

As usual, this event is open to everyone interested in the topic!

Structure of the meeting:
- Round of introductions.
- Presentation on meditation.
- Reflection and discussion activities.
- Open space for questions.
