The Sindhi community, known for its resilience, carried its rich culture and food across borders after partition. Today, Sindhi flavors thrive globally, telling stories of heritage and adaptability.
This December, we savor a two-course Sindhi meal:
Dal Pakwan – Crispy fried flatbread served with thick chickpea soup, topped with chutneys and onions.
Sindhi Curry with Rice – A tangy lentil-and-vegetable curry paired with steamed rice, stir-fried okra, and potatoes.
