Grand Danois is a breathless, anarchistic circus performance filled with circus virtuosity, music, and devil-may-care humor.

We meet a ragged and slightly dysfunctional circus troupe living life on the road — a life scented with sawdust and popcorn. Home is wherever their old, worn circus wagon, Lotte, is pulled into the roadside ditch for the night.

Their dream is to restore the circus tent’s former glory and travel the world to applause and excitement. But is the journey just as important as the destination?
