This week: CRYSTAL BOWLS AND CHAKRAS !About this EventABOUT THIS EVENTYou've heard the instruments. Now learn to play them. Most people meet sound meditation lying down. This course is for the ones who got up afterward and wanted to know how it was done.Over five Mondays, you'll work directly with the instruments (not watching a demonstration) but actually playing them. Every student shares an instrument with one other person, which means you get to practice in every single session. What you'll learnWeek 3 : Crystal Bowls and the Chakras. Which notes correspond to which energy centers. How size and depth shape pitch. How to choose a bowl, care for it, and harmonize several without distortion.Underneath all five weeks: how to approach these instruments with respect. In this tradition they are not objects. We will end with an understanding of how to create a sound flow that makes sense for your sound meditations.Who this is forYou own instruments and have never been formally taughtYou've been playing for friends and want to know if you're doing it correctlyYou want to hold sessions for others and need to know how to do it safelyYou're drawn to the instruments and want to start properlyNo prior experience necessary.
