- **Event Description**: This summer, we invite a small group of young artists to join us for a truly special three-day creative experience set in the heart of Mellano Farm. Designed as a boutique-style art immersion, this elevated camp blends fine art instruction with the natural beauty and inspiration of our blooming fields.

Each day, students will explore a curated selection of artistic mediums — this can range from oil pastels and watercolor to chalk, tempera, and mixed media as well as more classic arts & craft projects — all guided by intentional, skill-building instruction. Artists will learn foundational principles of art including line, shape, color, space, and texture while developing artistic vocabulary and technique in a supportive, inspiring environment.

What makes this experience exceptional is its setting. Our young artists will work while overlooking vibrant flower fields and working farmland, offering endless inspiration. Young artists will sketch among the blooms, observe farm animals, and create pieces influenced directly by the landscape around them. This is not just an art class — it is an immersive farm-to-canvas experience.

Beyond the easel & sketch pad, students will enjoy thoughtfully integrated farm experiences, including farm-inspired recipes and snacks, nature walks for creative exploration, and hands-on moments that connect art with agriculture.

Every detail is designed to spark imagination and deepen appreciation for the natural world.

With intentionally small group sizes, this atelier provides personalized attention, meaningful instruction, and space for each child’s unique creative voice to flourish. Our focus is on cultivating artistic confidence, encouraging individual expression, and fostering a growth mindset in a peaceful, beautiful setting on the farm.

This class is designed for 9–13-year-olds though we can discuss younger or older kids interested in participating!

Kids will bring a packed lunch, but snacks will be created and provided each day at camp.

Spaces are limited to preserve the intimate, high-quality experience. We look forward to welcoming your young artist for a memorable and inspiring experience on the farm.
