80th Anniversary of the Post
This will be a 3-day weekend long Anniversary celebration event (April 24 - 26, 2026) for the VFW and Auxiliary.
One of the Anniversary centerpieces will be the Saturday Night Dinner & Dance featuring the DE Hall of Fame Band - " On The Edge ". As of now, this event will be open to Members plus one (1) Guest.

o Friday: Opening Ceremony held at 11 am at Memorial Park with luncheon to follow.
o Friday: Time Capsule buried and marked - Memorial Park area
o Friday Night: Dinner and " Sock Hop " Dance
o Saturday: Oak Tree Planting
o Saturday: Cold Cuts set up for lunch with possible tables to pass out Veterans Benefits and Health issue information and sell 80th Anniversary Memorabilia.
o Saturday Evening: Dinner and Dance to the live music of the Hall of Fame Band: "On The Edge “
o Sunday Morning: Memorial Service in the Memorial Park with Volley and Taps by our Post Honor Guard followed by a Breakfast in the Dining Room
