Shenanigans - by Ocean View author, Kathaleen McCormick

Celebrate the Ides of March with the Historic Village in Ocean View on March 11 (one week before St. Patrick's Day) when Ocean View author, Kathy McCormick, presents her new book, "SHENANIGANS, Whatever Happened to Danny Kelly?" The night will feature actors portraying characters in the book, refreshments, and more.

The lively presentation will take place in Hall's Store in the Historic Village at 7:00PM. Hall's Store is directly adjacent to John West Park in Ocean View. Parking is available around the park. Hope to see you for a fun evening! Wear your green!

Book forward: "The Burren is a mystical place. The fog rises and swirls; small, delicate but persistent flowers grow between the limestone boulders that line the coast and form the mountain. Ancient megalithic wedge tombs, dolmens, and ring forts scatter across the rocky landscape, and around them linger ghosts of the past. White clouds sit on the mountain top like tiaras. Rain and sun alternate by the hour. Famine villages sit in crumbled heaps waiting for the return of their lost inhabitants. And, leprechauns simply disappear. But grown men?
