This Christmas morning, Buzzy’s will once again open its doors to serve a hot breakfast to our homeless neighbors—a tradition that began two years ago when Rebecca, the owner, felt moved to offer a place of dignity, warmth, and kindness on a day that can feel especially lonely.
Each year, Rebecca, her husband, and a small team of staff and volunteers have lovingly prepared and served a sit-down breakfast to 40+ guests. Buzzy’s has never accepted any reimbursement for food or labor; they have generously absorbed the full cost of the meal every single year.
Please note:
This is not an event open to the general public to attend.
We are instead asking for your support, your shares, and your heart.
How you can help:
✔️ Fast Food Gift Cards ($5–$10 preferred)
Instead of additional volunteers, Rebecca suggested a more impactful way to help: providing guests with fast food gift cards so they can enjoy another hot meal on another day.
Last year, the community donated more than $1,200, allowing every guest to leave with $30 in gift cards—a gesture that meant nourishment, hope, and the knowledge that their community cares.
👉 Gift cards may be dropped off at Buzzy’s anytime between 7 AM and noon before Christmas Day.
