Whether you join the Tour of Lights or use the map provided by Ace Hardware, it is sure to be a treasured memory for you and your family. If you are one of the amazing people that decorates your house with beautiful lights, enter our contest! We would love to help folks find your display and enjoy it. Residential Contest Rules: 1. You must be registered for the contest before December 1st to be included on the Tour of Lights map! You do not need to be fully decorated by that date, but we need time to plan the map. 2. Decorations will be judged in three categories: Best Use of Lights, Most Creative, and People’s Choice 3. One winner in each of the three categories will win an ACE gift card and a custom yard sign to ensure bragging rights for years to come! 4. You should be ready to display by at least December 8th, and should have your lights on every night. Our photographer will be out sometime that first week to take photos. 5. Judging period is the week of December 14-20, 2025. Our Independent Judges will visit sometime during this week to evaluate your display and cast their votes for Best Use of Lights and Most Creative. Photos will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram accounts (@buckelectricace) and the People’s Choice will be decided by popular vote. 6. Online voting for People’s Choice will begin on December 16 and end at 8AM December 22nd. 7. Entrants may win only one category. 8. Entrants may be featured on our social media accounts throughout the contest. 9. Winners will be announced on December 22nd via our social media accounts. 10. Open to homes in Ocean Shores, Oyehut, Illahee and Hogan’s Corner. Employees of Buck Electric Ace Hardware and their immediate families are ineligible. 11.
