Cost: $100 for 5 weeks (it's OK if you miss a week) and all equipment provided.
Beginner's welcome.
The sessions have a focus on breath, self-awareness and cultivating strength and movement through the yoga poses, supported from where YOU are at.
It's suitable for all and has a focus on the core and pelvic floor and supporting joints, back, neck, wrists and nervous system. Men and couples are welcome.
From the start of the term, we build up slowly, and continue to build strength, flexibility and movement. That way you can progress with support and guidance to slowly build STRENGTH, SKILLS, MOVEMENT, FLEXIBILITY, BALANCE and TONE and RECOVER and SUPPORT any injuries.
The breathing, meditation, toning and self-care practices will help you to BREATHE well, RELEASE tension, QUIETEN thoughts, MANAGE fear and anxiety and help you to feel more CONNECTED to what's happening in your body. You will leave feeling LIGHTER, more RELAXED, CONNECTED and FREE!
All equipment is provided including thick, high-quality mats, blankets, blocks and bolsters for your comfort. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a drink bottle. The room has great amenities and there is plenty of parking.
I'm a senior teacher of 13 years, trauma informed and can accommodate all types of injuries and concerns. I have an open, mindful approach with a focus on breathe, self-awareness and self-care. I enjoy toning, the energetic aspects of yoga and meditation and the lifelong pursuit of learning to know self. There isn't a body that I'm unable to support with yoga, mindfulness, breathing and movement. It's my passion to assist people to improve their physical and mental well-being, and consequently their quality of life.
