We will guide you on a curated journey where you will experience nature in a different way with ecological insights, yoga and mindfulness practices. Let the peace and rhythm of nature sink into your being as stress melts away.
The Bohemia Preserve is accessed only through trained docents, making this a rare opportunity to explore its protected oak woodlands and seasonal wildflowers in an intimate way.
Alok has been guiding nature experiences for over 25 years and brings a depth of ecological knowledge, reverence for the land, and a gift for creating meaningful connections. Along the trail, he will weave in teachable moments about the preserve’s ecology and native plants — along with gentle invitations to slow down and attune to the natural world around you.
We will hike to a hillside yurt where the movement practice will unfold, surrounded by open sky and rolling hills. Depending on conditions, we may also visit a small waterfall before continuing upward to the “Top of the World” — a panoramic viewpoint where we will gather to watch the sunset on this auspicious equinox evening.
